Realistic graphics May 12, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
It has realistic graphics, but the auto pace lap needs some work, as the car tends to spin out and the pace car tends to be too far ahead of the field. The weather, when it changes, the graphics get jumpy. The crew is realistic and the cars are realistic, but it still needs some work done.
Nascar Sim Racing July 25, 2007 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Although the graphics on this game are awsome. There is alot of problems with the game. I like to race the longer races at the shorter track, but i'm never am able to finish because i will be black flagged under caution or something on those lines. You dont even have to do anything wrong and you'll be black flagged and disqualified. It reminds me of a playstation/xbox game to much. the reason i get the computer racing games is because their always more realistic with chassis setips and driving style. I wish Serria or Papyrus could get the rights back because thats when the games was good. I will not buy anymore racing games for my PC if they are made by EA sports. EA sports games are great for playstaion but not PC. So if your looking for the latest Nascar racing game thats good. Then buy Nascar Racing 2002 or 2003. They still have the realistic affects
EA Sports Nascar Simracing July 23, 2007 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
This game turned out to be a real disappointment. EA Sports really dropped the ball. The only support for this much in need of a patch game is the online community. I am not very optimistic about the union of Nascar and EA Sports.

I bought this game a year ago, and still haven't got it to work! EA has stopped supporting this game long ago. This game is total crap anyway. The ONLY real NASCAR Sim is NASCAR Racing 2003 Season by Papyrus. That game is continuously updated and supported by the largest single game following that I have ever seen. There are addons available for free through third party websites including Grand National, Craftsman Truck, ARCA Re/Max, and IROC. Those websites also keep all the paint schemes current, and are easily found through a Google or Yahoo search. Use what the real NASCAR drivers race online with, there are tons of open leagues available. [...] Do not buy NASCAR Sim Racing, or you will be dissapointed.
OK at first March 23, 2007 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Fun until i got bored with it & it stopped working. It worked just fine when i bought it. The problem didn't start until I decided to reinstall it a few months later and it couldn't find a certain file when i tried to install it(Friend had a similar problem). When it worked it was fun the first week or so but then after i had tried out pretty much every feature it got boreing. If you are going to buy this just because the dammage loooks good, don't. The dammage is simple. Every pannel on the car can get about one big, medium, or small dent. Whith a big collision pieces will fly off unrealisticly. If you are in a huge wreck it will just skip to the end of the race because your car is too dammaged to use and you cannot restart the race after this happens unless as soon as you crash, hit the "r" key and hit yes i want to restart. It takes forever for my pc to load the events so about 45 seconds (my pc isn't a great gaming computer so yours probably will load faster) to load and sometimes only 30 seconds before crashing. As a simulator it is great. If you want to feel like you are rally driving a race car this is the right game for you. You can tweak just about everything and the telementary feature is great. It is a dream for people who like to have a realistic driving experience. I would recommend a steering wheel for any racing game but with this game i think you will need one. It is a good game for people who like simulator games but if you like damage and simulation combined it is not a very good game for that. Buying it new it is not worth it. Buy it used and then if you are like me and get bored with it or it stops working, you won't be out a lot of money.
