Product Description The new Ripstick combines all the fun and excitement of surfing and snowboarding and puts it on wheels. Inspired by the classic shape and design of a skateboard, the Ripstick looks like something out of the future. Instead of the traditional four-wheel skateboard, this amazing board can make smooth, quick 360-degree turns on just two wheels. Just stand on the sturdy traction plates and subtle movements propel the Ripstick even up a hill! The front and rear flexible panels are controlled by a spring-oriented bar located on the top of the wheels. The rugged polyurethane wheels are 77mm/85A with ABEC-5 bearings. Separating the two traction plates is a padded rubber carrying handle. Measures 33.5" long x 10" wide. Weighs 8 lbs. Wear helmet and pads for safety. 90-day warranty.

Perfect gift for a 10 yr old! November 29, 2008 Jeremy A. Gaines (Matthews, NC) I bought this for a Bday present for my 10 yr old and he absolutely loves it. He was never a big skate boarder but loves this. He picked up the basics in about 1/2 a day.
Ripstick November 26, 2008 Tess (CT) We bought the Ripstick for our 8 yr. old and he loves it. Quality is really good. Takes a while to learn how to ride though. Shipping was really fast and the price was one of the best I was able to find. I would definitely order through Amazon again.
My son loves it! November 26, 2008 Christine Kukla (Fort Myers, FL USA) I can't get my son off of it! He loves it! It was the best birthday gift he's gotten in a while. Now instead of sitting in front on the TV or playing videogames, he's riding on his RipStik and getting a lot of exercise.
AWESOME! November 21, 2008 cathie farina (Ohio) My daughter LOVES LOVES this! It took about a week to get the balance but once she did she has NOT stopped! It is a GREAT "Core" workout and is fun so she doesn't even think it's exercise...just fun! The cool thing with this is how you can go up hill once you learn how to do the weaving back and forth motion (a friend showed her). So it is better than a skate board - you can go uphill weaving then turn around and coast back down hill. One caution -- don't go downhill too fast becasue there is really no good way to stop other than jumping off. My daughter says there is no way to stop because you will loose balance so you can only jump off! -- WEAR HELMETS and KNEE PADS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
RipStik is a hit! November 19, 2008 Sandra M. Hockert (Apple Valley MN) I bought one for my daughter's 10th birthday. She loves it! It came with a video on how to use it and do tricks, and she watched it before using it the first time. Even though MN winters start early, she has been on it more than what I expected. I recommend this product for anyone who loves to skateboard - it's a step up in difficulty, but once mastered, it offers much more flexibility.
