Used it only for hooking up a HDD to the PS2. Combine this with HD Loader and you have yourself a hard drive based gaming system.

Network adapter works great for older PS2 systems. Easy setup, but you MUST have the DVD setup disk.

I bought this to play wireless live but because of the lousy ethernet bridge I ordered from another vendor in conjunction with this, I had to return it and convert to playing video games live using a wire. However, this vendor handled my return apologetically and earnestly, no questions asked. I received my refund right away. Their customer service was EXCELLENT.

You DON'T need this network adaptor for the PS2 slim editon (SCPH-70012) this unit aready has a built in network adaptor.
