Nice Video January 25, 2008 S. Krieger (Virginia) I gave this 4 instead of 5 because I don't like it. I bought this for my husband and he loved it so I'll give it four since he is into this sort of thing.
Beware.....you may buy a motorcycle after watching this movie January 18, 2008 D. Morgan (Georgia) Beware.....you may buy a motorcycle after watching this movie. Best Motorcycle movie I ever saw..........
Love it! January 9, 2008 Peaches (Darrington, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This DVD is great. I knew what to expect having grown up watching it on video. I technically got it for my dad as a Xmas present to replace the video, which was lost, but seeing it again was really enjoyable for the whole family. Anyone into motorcycles will get a kick out of this. Its fabulously well done, and I love it. I may even buy a second one for my house.
UnBox does not work December 11, 2007 J. Babbington (60601, USA) 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
12/11/2007: I rented this video with UnBox; I never got a chance to see it. Unbox installation required three reboots to complete. With UnBox finally installed, I rented and downloaded this film. It took over an hour to download, and it would not let me watch while downloading. As a competitive reference, CinemaNow allows view about a minute after the download starts. The download completed, but now I dont have time to watch it. No problem, I think, I'll just watch it later in the week. No deal. When I tried to play the movie, it would give me a pop up window "getting license for content please wait". I waited. I got tired of waiting. Waiting sucks. So I retried the play button, same thing - "wait...". I ran the diagnostics applet under "prefferences" - all green. This one rental has lead to 3 customer support contacts with Amazon. This implementation of instant movie deliver is not ready yet. Give it a few more months. I hope Amazon is addressing the issues; once corrected, UnBox will be a neat service.
Best motorcycle movie? December 7, 2007 Sepp Seitz (Durham, NC United States) I liked this film but can't quite agree with calling it the "best motorcycle movie ever" (as it was advertised to me by other people). For that, it is too one-sided on dirt. I'm missing more road racing. I would have loved to see some of the now legendary racers and bikes of this period's GP circuit. Besides the motorcycling aspect I see this film as a document of a particular time: the overall feel is very upbeat, and people's looks are different compared to nowadays. That made it interesting to me in itself.
