This product works very well and is indeed fast to put up and down; it is well-made and tough enough to last. Has side window fabric you can see out of, so you can locate your kids and see what's going on around you without that hermetic "cave" tent feeling. It could be MUCH improved if the manufacturer attached a permanent tag or small set of symbols somewhere inside, showing how to open/shut. I can't loan this product to guests to take to the beach or campground, without first taking it apart and demonstrating how to open/close. It is not intuitive to operate. I have had people (including me)lug it home from the beach or campsite folded up in haphazard fashion after giving up trying to figure out how to raise/lower it. Hard to understand why they didn't just sew a tag on the inside.

the tent served us well at the Jersey shore despite high beach winds -- too windy for the beach umbrella but the easily set up tent with the sand bags and stakes at each corner withstood the wind with ease and provided excellent shelter from the wind and sun. It was easy as well to shake the sand out and disassemble the tent - easily placed in the carrying sleeve to carry it off the beach.

this is a very good tent for a beach. it's very easy to open and close it. But as any tent if a strong wind strockes, you will be in trouble trying to keep it on the ground. It works perfect for a couple and a kid (in our case, two dogs)

This did really well for us - both as a shelter, and as a kite! (j/k - lol) It was very simple to go up; putting away was a little trickier, particularly when the wind was blowing. I was a little concerned about the ruggedness of the shelter, but it held up well. Overall, it suited our purposes and we'll probably get some more uses out of it.
